You might find yourself leading a prayer group for all sorts of reasons. Maybe you want to start one up. Maybe somebody wants you to start one up. Maybe you are a member of an existing group and suddenly the mantle of leadership falls upon you. Some can't wait to assume leadership while others can't wait to pass it on to somebody else! Some seem to have a natural gift for it and for others it is very hard work.
Not everybody is designed by God to be a prayer group leader and there is no disgrace in admitting that and declining to take on the role. But if you, for whatever reason, find yourself in a leadership role here are some hints of things to think about. Some of the points overlap with each other. Many of them will seem pretty obvious but remember it is often these very obvious things that are not done or thought about.
