Perhaps the most obvious resource for the Christian as s/he comes to pray is the Bible. It would be possible, no doubt, to produce a site solely given over to different ways of using the Bible in this way, and still cover no more than a small number of the possibilities. We can do even less here.
What we offer is just as a taste of the range of possibilities; one fairly traditional method; two scripted meditations on particular Biblical passages; a scripted meditation which uses a Biblical passage alongside non-biblical material; one innovative use of Biblical passages; and two exercises which use Biblical passages as a starting point from which to begin.
Clearly in this process the dividing line between Bible study on the one hand and prayer on the other becomes so indistinct as to be almost indistinguishable.
